Drag Aid is celebrated as a vital, community-led initiative that uses drag as a force for collective care. Described as “a monthly drag show that raises funds for mutual aid and gofundmes,” Drag Aid is entirely volunteer-based, with “every cent” raised going directly “towards the fund being raised.” This model has made Drag Aid a trusted and impactful presence within the queer community.
