Acland's Drag Derby
We'd love you to join us as an entrant in Acland's Drag Derby, an emerging drag artist competition held in Acland Plaza after Pride March, Sun Feb 4, 2.30 - 4pm.
9 artists will be selected to compete to be Acland's Drag Star and the winner will receive, amongst other things, a $400 voucher for Styled by Esther and a $300 voucher for House of Priscilla.
There will also be a prize for runner up.
The event will be hosted by Brenda Bressed and will consist of three components - a catwalk, your talent (max 3 min) and answering one question (you will be sent a list of questions you can prepare for, but you won't know which one you'll be asked). The judges will be Della Katessen, Freddie Merkin and CEO of The National Theatre and Acland Street Village Committee member, Sarah Hunt.

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must be 18 years or over at time of the event. As this event is held in a public place, the event needs to be PG - so please ensure talent portion is child friendly and no swearing etc :-)
