01.10.2022 RNB Rooftop Event

Second time round landed us in Richmond on the roof top of the Sporting Globe, with fantastic DJs MzRizk, Mrs Wallace, and Duchess Kay playing the hottest RNB tracks, we heard some inspiring and relatable stories from guest speakers Jess Trend and Pharrell Shaymar  (The Trans Technician), later into the night performer Karina Chaves belted out some tunes that had the crowd buzzing. 

Inside we had pop up stalls Brooks Running and Stitch Untitled, Melbourne 360 Photobooth, Rayza Ray providing fresh ink and Sherridan McClelland cutting and styling hair. 

The inclusive and warm vibes carried on into this this event.

One guest said “A totally different vibe from others. Very cozy. The owners are so nice.” 

Another said “Never have the hosts of an event come and introduced themselves, let alone see if I’m okay or need anything.”

Another told us about their own experience with social anxiety and after being to our first event, felt calm know what to expect coming to this event. 

“it was great, super inclusive of everyone We’ve been to a few other events that we didn’t feel 100% comfortable at. My partner is trans and I feel like some events aren’t always as welcoming as they make out but this definitely was 🤩🥰 he felt like he could be himself completely and it was a super safe space with really open minded people. Anytime! Thank YOU for creating such a welcoming & fun environment! ❤️”

We raised around $400 at this event to continue supporting the mental health of the LBGTQIA+ community.
