Haylo Roberts

Haylo is an excellent representation of trans men in STEM. He has dedicated his work to "helping endangered animals, fighting for queer representation in STEM, making science accessible to the public through Nerd Nite, and empowering Traditional Owner groups in eDNA and biodiversity."

He "established the Traditional Owner Program, which marries First Nations knowledge and modern eDNA science," creating space for "tools and workshops that support Traditional Owner groups to contribute to their care of local biodiversity and waterway management."

He also "co-runs Nerd Nite, which regularly books queer educators and industry professionals to give talks on science and humanities in an effort to make science accessible to the public."
