Description
Visibility is the first step toward equality, but it isn't the finish line. As someone with a public platform, I view my screen time as a tool for advocacy. We are seeing a shift, but the work is far from done for queer and trans people of colour who still face disproportionate barriers. I am committed to using this spotlight to amplify voices that are often pushed to the margins. We need to move beyond just being 'seen' to being heard, respected, and protected. If my presence on TV can open a door or start a conversation about true inclusion, then I’ve done my job.
