Euphoria Social Group Incorporated

At Euphoria Social, every identity is honoured, every story is valued, and everyone belongs. We know that social connection plays a vital role in well-being, especially for the LGBTQIAPN+ community.

Euphoria Social Group Incorporated is a community-led, volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation that creates inclusive, supportive, and joyful spaces for LGBTQIAPN+ people to connect, celebrate, and thrive.

  • Euphoria Social is a community-driven, grassroots initiative dedicated to fostering social inclusion, connection, and well-being for the LGBTQIAPN+ community.

  • Euphoria Social is a sanctuary for the LGBTQIAPN+ community that acknowledges the connection between wellbeing and social inclusion. Euphoria Social celebrates, supports, and connects individuals of our community to promote and improve their well-being.

  • We create and hold spaces that support LGBTQIAPN+ people through connection, care, and community.

Not perfect space. Not universal space. Just real space.

When we say “space,” we don’t just mean a building. A “space” can be any environment — physical, emotional, or digital — where people feel they can belong.

  • At Euphoria Social, every identity is honoured, every story is valued, and everyone belongs.

We know that social connection is vital to well-being — especially for LGBTQIAPN+ people who may face exclusion or isolation.

Euphoria Social is a community-led, volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation that creates spaces for LGBTQIAPN+ people to connect, celebrate, and thrive. We focus on building community, promoting mental wellness, and offering alternatives to traditional nightlife scenes.

    We do this by:

    • Hosting inclusive events like The GALA & People’s Choice Awards and other social gatherings.

    • Running free mental health and well-being workshops in partnership with local professionals.

    • Creating family-friendly and low-barrier events where everyone can show up as their full self.

    • Promoting LGBTQIAPN+ inclusion and visibility through community awareness campaigns.

    • Building connections between people and LGBTQIAPN+-friendly businesses and services.

Everything we do is powered by volunteers, not profit.

Euphoria Social is operated entirely by unpaid volunteers under our not-for-profit structure (Registered with Consumer Affairs Victoria – A0124341K).

We are currently applying for registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) to further strengthen transparency and accountability.

Euphoria Social began with our founders, T and Emma, who were inspired by their lived experiences of discrimination, love, loss, and resilience. Their journey highlighted the urgent need for safe, inclusive, and compassionate spaces within and beyond the LGBTQIAPN+ community.

  • Euphoria Social Group Incorporated is a registered not-for-profit association with Consumer Affairs Victoria (Registration No. A0124341K).

We are in the process of applying for registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) to strengthen transparency and accountability.

Our organisation is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, including our committee members and event organisers, in line with the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (Vic) and our registered Rules.

No one at Euphoria Social — including founders, volunteers, or committee members — receives payment or profit from our activities.
All funds raised go directly back into community programs, events, and resources.

While Euphoria Social was co-founded by T and Emma, the organisation operates independently.

No individual holds ownership or personal entitlement over the organisation — it belongs to the community.

  • We’re more than an organisation — we’re collective of people who show up for each other.

Our community includes LGBTQIAPN+ people and allies who share our vision of inclusion, connection, and joy. Allies are essential in building bridges, challenging prejudice, and creating a more equal society for everyone.

  • Established in 2022.

Euphoria Social is continually growing, evolving, and learning.

Late last year, we became a not-for-profit organisation. This is still a new chapter for us, and we’re learning how to best serve our community while discovering each other’s strengths and refining how we work together.

Euphoria Social is now a community-led, volunteer-run organisation, and all activities and initiatives are carried out under this collective structure.

Our founders T and Emma Origin Story

Nearly 15 years ago, our journey as a couple began.

Seven years ago, as we planned our wedding, we faced an overwhelming number of rejections from venues and service providers — simply because we were a same-sex couple.

At the same time, we noticed that many LGBTQIAPN+ spaces didn’t meet our needs. We longed for more diverse, accessible, and safe social spaces that felt right for us. After all, we are all different.

When we began our fertility and parenting journey, we encountered homophobia within the public health system and wider community. Over seven years, it became painfully clear that there is still so much work to be done.

We are incredibly lucky to now have two beautiful children.

Our daughter is turning four this Sunday, and our little boy is now seven months old.

But our journey hasn’t been without heartbreak. Over our seven-year fertility journey, we experienced two losses — one at seven weeks and one at nineteen weeks. These devastating experiences exposed us to the public health system more than we ever anticipated. They were absolutely brutal, and we would never wish this pain on anyone. The grief has impacted us both profoundly and permanently. It has changed us to our core.

During this time, T was diagnosed with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Premenstrual Exacerbation (PME), which cause severe depression, anxiety, and hopelessness. This has had a significant and ongoing impact on T’s daily life and mental health. Five years ago, T’s health declined dramatically, and they now live with a diagnosed disability.

These experiences inspired us to create Euphoria Social — an inclusive and uplifting space that prioritises mental wellness and social connection for LGBTQIAPN+ people.

    Our Community

We were so pleased to discover that we were not alone.

Along the way, we’ve met people who are now like family. Years later, we are proud to have built the Euphoria Social community — a community we are truly grateful for.

Whether it’s through a social event, a workshop, or even skydiving to raise awareness, we have found our people.

Euphoria Social receives no government funding and operates entirely through the passion and dedication of our incredible volunteers. The organisation functions independently, and all community activities, initiatives, and decisions are made collectively under its not-for-profit structure.

While T and Emma may have founded Euphoria Social, it now belongs to the community.
