At Euphoria Social, every identity is honoured, every story is valued, and everyone belongs. We know that social connection plays a vital role in well-being, especially for the LGBTQIAPN+ community.

About US

  • Euphoria Social is a community-driven, grassroots initiative dedicated to fostering social inclusion, connection, and well-being for the LGBTQIAPN+ community.

  • Euphoria Social is a sanctuary for the LGBTQIAPN+ community that acknowledges the connection between wellbeing and social inclusion. Euphoria Social celebrates, supports, and connects individuals of our community to promote and improve their well-being.

  • To create and hold space that supports LGBTQIAPN+ people through connection, care, and community. Not perfect space. Not universal space. Just real space — made safer, more open, and more honest for those too often left out. We’re not here to speak for everyone.

  • Euphoria Social is a community-driven organisation that creates inclusive, supportive, and joyful spaces for LGBTQIAPN+ people to connect, celebrate, and thrive.

We focus on social inclusion, mental wellness, and community connection beyond traditional clubbing and nightlife scenes. Euphoria Social offers a range of events, initiatives, and resources that uplift and centre LGBTQIAPN+ voices.

    Our work includes:

    • Hosting social events like The GALA & People’s Choice Awards and other community gatherings that celebrate and unite LGBTQIAPN+ people.

    • Creating family-friendly, and low-barrier spaces where people can show up as their full selves without fear or judgement.

    • Running free mental health workshops in partnership with Q Psychology to support wellbeing.

    • Delivering community grassroots awareness campaigns to promote LGBTQIAPN+ inclusion, safety, and visibility.

    • Building an inclusive directory to connect people with LGBTQIAPN+-friendly businesses and services.

    • Championing personal stories and lived experiences, especially those from rainbow communities and families.

At its heart, Euphoria Social is about belonging, visibility, and fierce love. We’ve built this because we’ve lived the need for it.

Through our events, resources, and connections, we’re transforming personal struggles into collective joy — creating a family where everyone is welcomed with open arms.

It’s important to remember that Euphoria Social is a grassroots organisation, built and led by a small team of volunteers who are navigating the day-to-day realities of life, just like everyone else.

We are not funded, nor are we paid to hold this space — we are simply a couple who deeply believe in showing up for our community in the ways we can, with the resources we have.

What we do comes from a place of lived experience, love, and a genuine desire to create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

We’re not driven by profit or recognition — we’re driven by the simple, but powerful, belief that every person deserves connection and belonging.

We may be small, but our commitment is real, and our hearts are firmly in this work. We’re here to do our bit, to grow alongside our community, and to keep showing up with honesty, kindness, and fierce dedication.

  • Day-to-day, Euphoria Social is mostly run by volunteers — T and Emma.

Our board is currently in its onboarding phase. We are a grassroots organisation, and now that the gala is winding down, we will be a little quieter as we focus on building strong governance.

We are also supported by our incredible long-standing ambassadors, who have been with us since the very beginning.

  • We are T and Emma, founders of Euphoria Social, established in 2022.
This July marks three years since we began.

Euphoria Social is continually growing, evolving, and learning.

Late last year, we became a not-for-profit organisation. This is still a new chapter for us. We are learning how to best serve our community, while also discovering each other’s strengths and refining how we work together.

    Our Origin Story

Nearly 15 years ago, our journey as a couple began.
Seven years ago, as we planned our wedding, we faced an overwhelming number of rejections from venues and service providers — simply because we were a same-sex couple.

At the same time, we noticed that many LGBTQIAPN+ spaces didn’t meet our needs. We longed for more diverse, accessible, and safe social spaces that felt right for us. After all, we are all different.

When we began our fertility and parenting journey, we encountered homophobia within the public health system and wider community. Over seven years, it became painfully clear that there is still so much work to be done.

We are incredibly lucky to now have two beautiful children.
Our daughter is turning four this Sunday, and our little boy is now seven months old.

But our journey hasn’t been without heartbreak. Over our seven-year fertility journey, we experienced two losses — one at seven weeks and one at nineteen weeks. These devastating experiences exposed us to the public health system more than we ever anticipated. They were absolutely brutal, and we would never wish this pain on anyone. The grief has impacted us both profoundly and permanently. It has changed us to our core.

During this time, T was diagnosed with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Premenstrual Exacerbation (PME), which cause severe depression, anxiety, and hopelessness. This has had a significant and ongoing impact on T’s daily life and mental health. Five years ago, T’s health declined dramatically, and they now live with a diagnosed disability.

These experiences inspired us to create Euphoria Social — an inclusive and uplifting space that prioritises mental wellness and social connection for LGBTQIAPN+ people.

    Our Community

We were so pleased to discover that we were not alone.
Along the way, we’ve met people who are now like family. Years later, we are proud to have built the Euphoria Social community — a community we are truly grateful for.

Whether it’s through a social event, a workshop, or even skydiving to raise awareness, we have found our people.

We receive no government funding and are powered entirely by the passion and dedication of our incredible volunteers.

We may have founded Euphoria Social, but you are now the reason we show up, the reason we keep going, and the reason we are inspired every single day.

  • We are a pro bono, volunteer community-led organisation.

We are a registered not-for-profit entity with Consumer Affairs Victoria and are currently in the process of applying for registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

  • Allies are crucial in the fight against prejudice and discrimination. They amplify marginalised voices and help create a more inclusive society. By standing in solidarity, allies can challenge systemic injustices, promote understanding, and foster empathy among different communities. Their support encourages others to confront their biases and engage in meaningful conversations. Ultimately, allies play a vital role in building bridges and facilitating change, making it easier for everyone to work together toward equality and justice.

  • At Euphoria Social, we proudly embrace the acronym LGBTQIAPN+, encompassing lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, pansexual, non-binary individuals, plus.

Everyone’s welcome, whether you identify as LGBTQIAPN+ or simply love glitter. No one’s left behind, and everyone’s invited to the dance floor.

  • “Euphoria Social is a lifeline that has given me a refuge from the storms of discrimination and prejudice. When I came out, I envisioned a world of acceptance and understanding, but reality struck hard. My ethnicity and body weight became targets for narrow-minded individuals who labeled me, treated me as less than, and perpetuated hurtful stereotypes.
Even now, the scars of racist discrimination persist, echoing through the LGBTQIA+ community. I thought finding my tribe would be easy, but I encountered bullies masked as truth seekers, using their own trauma to inflict pain on others. It felt like a never-ending battle. Enter Euphoria Social. This incredible community became my sanctuary, a safe space where acceptance knows no bounds. It wasn't just about tolerance; it was about embracing diversity and celebrating the unique beauty each individual brings to the table. Euphoria Social saw me for who I am, beyond the color of my skin or the number on the scale. They became my champions, standing by me in solidarity, ensuring my mental health was prioritised.
What sets Euphoria Social apart is not just its commitment to inclusion but its proactive efforts to address issues head-on. When I raised concerns about ethnic diversity to other LGBTQIA+ organisations, my pleas fell on deaf ears. Euphoria Social, on the other hand, opened up a dialogue, engaged in meaningful conversations, and actively worked towards highlighting the richness of our diverse community.
I cannot express enough gratitude to Euphoria Social for being my beacon of light. They didn't just save me from the darkness of discrimination; they empowered me to be unapologetically myself. In a world where my voice was often drowned out, Euphoria Social not only heard me but amplified my narrative. Thank you, Euphoria Social, for not just creating a platform but for creating a family where everyone is seen, supported, and valued.” - Tim

“Euphoria Social is seriously the epitome of inclusivity and non-judgment. It’s a place where everyone can truly be themselves and feel accepted. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the energy is just amazing. I love how they celebrate diversity and create a space where everyone feels comfortable. It’s like a big family where you can let your fabulous flag fly high!” - Spencer Street

It was great for someone very socially anxious! Great way to start getting back into events again, would love to go to more event in future!” - Guest

I’ve been a huge fan of Euphoria Social ever since I was invited to one of their events about a year ago. From that very first experience, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere, lively music, and the palpable sense of community that enveloped the gathering. Each time I return, I find that same welcoming energy, which reinforces my feeling of belonging and acceptance. It's as if every event is thoughtfully woven together with threads of joy, laughter, and connection.

As a trans woman of colour, finding spaces where I feel comfortable, represented, and understood has often been a daunting challenge. Many environments can feel exclusionary, and I have faced moments of discomfort that punctuate my experiences when I realise that I don’t see others who share my identity. It’s an isolating experience that can cast a shadow over my enjoyment and participation, leaving me yearning for connection and understanding. However, what sets Euphoria Social apart is their unwavering commitment to inclusivity. Their dedication resonates deeply with me; they have worked tirelessly to create an environment where everyone, including our trans elders, can feel safe, accepted, and celebrated for who they are.
It's truly evident in the way they engage with the community, prioritising representation and actively ensuring that all voices are heard and valued. The organisers engage in meaningful conversations and initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and empowerment among those who attend. This commitment is a breath of fresh air in a world that can often feel unwelcoming. There’s a profound understanding of the importance of representation, and I genuinely appreciate that.
Beyond simply hosting events, Euphoria Social has embraced a mission of supporting LGBTQIA+ organisations through innovative fundraising initiatives. This dedication to making impactful change is genuinely inspiring. I'm especially proud to be a part of this movement through my radio show, Queering The Air 3CR, where we amplify crucial issues and voices within our community. It’s invigorating to witness how Euphoria Social uses their platform not only to entertain but also to raise funds and awareness for causes that matter deeply to us, always helping to uplift marginalised voices within the community.
Each event feels like a celebration with a purpose—there’s a clear intention behind every gathering. The organisers put a lot of thought and care into ensuring that each individual feels seen and welcomed, making meaningful connections. It’s not merely about having fun; it’s about creating a supportive network that fosters genuine relationships, where everyone can express themselves freely and authentically. Euphoria Social has built a space that feels like home, a sanctuary of support and camaraderie. I’m profoundly grateful for the connections I’ve made and the sheer joy I’ve experienced while participating in this incredible tapestry of community. Sasja Sÿdek

“The Holiday Picnic hosted by Euphoria Social was an absolute blast! With the weather throwing a curveball, kudos to T, the founder of Euphoria Social, for swiftly implementing plan B and finding a new venue at the last minute. The picnic turned out to be the best Season Holidays party of the year, and we're grateful for the effort put into organising such an enjoyable LGBTQIA+ party. A heartfelt thank you to all the sponsors for their generous freebies - your support was truly appreciated. It felt like Santa came early this year, and we had an amazing time connecting with everyone. Thank you to Euphoria Social and all involved for a truly memorable event!” - Trans Sisters United
